Terms of Service

By creating an account, downloading, or using RecStak (“the Service”), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service (“Terms”). If you do not agree to these Terms, you may not use the Service.

Age Requirement: You must be at least 18 years old to create a coach account. The Service is not directed at or intended for children under 13.

Account Responsibility: You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activities that occur under your account.

Core Platform: RecStak provides a free team-management tool encompassing lineups, rosters, schedules, communications, statistics, and drills.

Third-Party Data:Coaches may enter player roster data and invite parents to a dedicated portal. You represent and warrant that you have obtained all necessary consent and rights from parents or legal guardians before entering minor children's data or contact information into the Service.

Organization-Owned Data:For teams and leagues using RecStak's Organization (“Org”) tier, all data associated with the Organization — including rosters, registrations, scheduling, statistics, communications records, officials records, and payment-log entries — is the property of the Organization itself, not of any individual director, administrator, coach, or other person with access to it. A person's access to this data exists solely because of their assigned role within the Organization and does not create any personal ownership interest in it.

No Unilateral Deletion:No director, administrator, or other appointed Organization member may delete, destroy, or otherwise render inaccessible any Organization-level data as a means of denying the Organization access to it, including upon that person's departure from a leadership role. This does not limit a parent or legal guardian's own right to request removal of their child's personal information as described in our Privacy Policy — those requests are honored regardless of any Organization member's role or status.

No Unauthorized Third-Party Sharing:No director, administrator, or other appointed Organization member may export, transmit, or otherwise disclose Organization data — including guardian or player contact information — to any third-party product, service, or platform not authorized in writing by the Organization's Director, other than through export features RecStak itself provides for the Organization's own operational use.

Single Director; Succession:Each Organization has exactly one Director, who holds final authority over the Organization's membership and role assignments. A Director may transfer this role to another qualified Organization member at any time. If a Director becomes unreachable and no transfer has occurred, remaining Organization administrators may contact RecStak support to request reassignment; RecStak will require reasonable verification of legitimate authority before making any such change.

Season Pass:Coaches may optionally purchase a “Season Pass” for $19.99 per team, per season to unlock premium features (e.g., SMS alerts, curated practice plans, end-of-season recaps).

Non-Subscription Model: The Season Pass is a one-time fee. It is not an auto-renewing subscription. A new season requires a separate, manual purchase.

Payment Processing: All payments are processed securely by our third-party payment processor, Stripe. RecStak does not capture, store, or have access to your full credit card details. See our Refund Policy for how refunds work.

You agree not to misuse the Service. Prohibited actions include, but are not limited to:

• Uploading or transmitting abusive, defamatory, or unlawful messages or content;
• Uploading third-party personal data without explicit legal authorization;
• Attempting to breach, bypass, or test the vulnerability of our security systems, or accessing data belonging to another team.

Practice Plans & Drills:RecStak's practice plans and drill library draw on published youth-baseball and youth-softball coaching guidance, including age-appropriate mechanics and arm-health/pitch-count guidance consistent with USA Baseball and USA Softball resources, along with drills contributed and peer-reviewed by experienced coaches within the RecStak community. RecStak is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by USA Baseball or USA Softball. Automated season-planning assistance, where used, sequences and organizes this vetted content into a plan — it does not generate drill instructions from scratch. Coaches must still use their own professional judgment to ensure any drill or plan is safe and age-appropriate for their specific players before running it.

SMS Delivery: While we utilize reputable networks, RecStak does not guarantee 100% delivery rates or immediate delivery of SMS alerts, which depend heavily on third-party mobile carriers.

No Warranty:RecStak is provided on an “AS IS” and “AS AVAILABLE” basis. We disclaim all warranties of any kind, explicit or implied.

Limitation: To the maximum extent permitted by law, RecStak and its operators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages. This includes, without limitation, damages for lost data, injuries during practice, or missed communications.

Modifications: We reserve the right to update these Terms at any time. Continued use of the Service after changes indicates acceptance.

Termination by You: You can delete your account and remove your data at any time through the platform settings. Upon deletion, your data will be permanently removed according to our Privacy Policy timelines.

Termination by Us & Inactivity: We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate our acceptable use policy. Additionally, to keep our systems secure and efficient, RecStak reserves the right to delete accounts (including all associated roster and team data) that have been completely inactive for more than twenty-four (24) consecutive months.

These Terms and any disputes arising out of your use of the Service shall be governed by, and construed in accordance with, the laws of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, without regard to its conflict of law principles. You agree to submit to the exclusive personal jurisdiction of the state and federal courts located in Pennsylvania.

RecStak offers an optional text-messaging program for teams whose coach has purchased the Season Pass. Program: RecStak game-day updates.If you opt in, you will receive transactional team logistics from your coach — schedule changes, rain-outs, field changes, practice cancellations, and reminders. Message frequency varies (occasional, based on your team's season). Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out at any time; reply HELP for help. For support, contact coach@recstak.app. RecStak does not share your mobile number or opt-in information with third parties or for marketing purposes.
